showdango is a web site managed by by CartoSoft, LLC ("CartoSoft"), an Oregon Limited Liability Corporation. showdango is provided as a service by CartoSoft. Please read our Terms of Use, which contains the terms that govern your use of this website and certain obligations with respect to products or services made available by CartoSoft. This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms of Use. Anytime we use the terms showdango, CartoSoft, our, or we, we mean CartoSoft, LLC.
What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy covers showdango's treatment of personal information that showdango gathers when you visit the showdango website and when you use showdango services.
This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that CartoSoft does not own or control, or to individuals that CartoSoft does not employ or manage.
What Personal Information about Registered and Non-Registered Users Does showdango Collect?
The goal of showdango is to provide users a friendly and informative web site that relates information about "webinars" and "webcasts." Personal information is collected that is relevant to the purpose of this website. This information is not processed in a way that is incompatible with the purpose for which it has been collected or subsequently authorized by you the user. The following types of information are collected from our registered and/or non-registered users:
- Information You Provide:
We receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but as a result you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features. The personal information you provide is used for such purposes as:- Registration: In order for you to use showdango services, such as submitting new links to the website, you must complete a registration form. As part of this registration form, we require your email address.
- Automatic Information:
- We receive and store certain types of information whenever users interact with the showdango web site. showdango automatically receives and records certain "traffic data" on our server logs from user's browser including IP address, showdango cookie information, and page requests. showdango may use this automatic information to help diagnose problems with its servers, analyze trends and administer the website.
- showdango may also add on any page display the total counts that page has been viewed. This includes member profile pages.
- Social sharing of data: showdango allows other users to browse webinars/webcasts that you have submitted, blogged, or commented on. This information is made available via your member profile or within the permalink URL of the webinar/webcast in which you performed the action on. We may choose to post this data on other site features in the future.
- Profile information: showdango allows other users to browse information that you make available in your showdango personal profile.
- Syndication: showdango allows for the RSS syndication of all of its public content within the website.
- Friends Data: Much like other social services showdango may allow non-friends to browse through your friends activities.
- API: showdango will allow 3rd parties access to all showdango data this is already publicly available through showdango.com. showdango will forever keep private passwords and blog settings.
- Many companies offer programs that help you to visit websites anonymously. While showdango will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these programs are available.
Cookies
- showdango cookies do not collect personal information, and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are or what your screen name or email address is.
- The "help" portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. Does showdango Share Any of the Information it Receives and/or Collects?

- No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot promise or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our website or computer systems, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will use reasonable efforts to protect its security on our systems.
